A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief

If you cannot already tell, I absolutely love hymns. I think that they are the best way to bring the Spirit so strongly into any setting. This is also a very beautiful piano piece of A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief which is another favorite hymn of mine. To me, this song shows us examples of Christ-like love that we try to emulate. In the last verse, Christ comes to the man and tells him that the good he did was not only to the man who needed his help but also to Jesus Christ himself. Our Savior was the perfect example of love, charity, compassion, and fellowship to everyone around him including complete strangers. The best way we can become like him is to do what he did and help others in any capacity. I have also attached the lyrics to the hymn here.

Far Far Away on Judea's Plains

This is one of my favorite Christmas hymns. It is probably my favorite because it is the only Christmas hymn I could ever play on the piano, and because it is not one of the super popular Christmas hymns :).
